Important Notes
- This is a YO camera battery brand compatible replacement. Specifications, dimensions and connectors match the original battery and it fully replaces the OEM pack (not an original-brand product).
- On some recent Sony bodies (firmware 2023 or later) a third-party battery notice may appear and the percentage readout may be hidden. This is normal — press OK to keep shooting.
- Use the dedicated BC-QZ1 charger or charge in-body where supported. Do not use chargers meant for other battery models.
- For long-term storage keep 40%–60% charge in a cool, dry place; run one full charge/discharge cycle before first use.

Runtime is fine, nothing special. The charger feels very plasticky and I do not fully trust it.
Mike R. –
Good capacity for the money. One star off for shipping, five days instead of the two that was quoted.
Ben C. –
No complaints.
Nathan D. (verified owner) –
Capacity is honest. I got about 80 minutes of continuous 4K before the low battery warning, maybe ten percent less than OEM at a third of the price.
Lena F. –
The one battery plus charger combo is the best value. Full charge in about two hours, light goes green and it stops, no heat. First time trying YO, surprised in a good way.
Nora H. (verified owner) –
If you shoot video, get this. No overheating on the Sony A7 IV through a forty-minute take. Shipping was quick too.
J. Whitfield –
Shot sunrise at minus five, rotated two of these, no sudden shutdowns. The no-name cell I had before just died in the cold. Hope it holds up.
Jared M. –
Works well. Docked a star because the charger manual is English only and the LED codes are not explained. Will buy again
Owen H. –
My original died after three years. Dropped this in the Sony A7 IV and it read fine on the first try, shot a full wedding on one bar left.
Leo V. –
Bought the two-battery kit with the charger. Shot all day without lugging a power bank around. Support was helpful. YO beats OEM on price, no real downside so far.
Yvonne T. (verified owner) –
Battery is fine and runtime is fine. The shell is slightly thicker than OEM so it is tight in my cage.
Simon R. (verified owner) –
No compatibility warning on the Sony A7 IV, and the percentage actually tracks, it does not jump from forty to zero. Packaging was intact.
Diane C. (verified owner) –
Great spare.
Todd R. –
Never failed me on a shoot, but the gauge is not linear, the first seventy percent lasts forever. Worth the money.
Bruce M. (verified owner) –
Bought two, one had slightly oxidized contacts, cleaned up fine. Support answered within a day.
Adam Z. (verified owner) –
Shipping took ten days and support kept saying it was in transit.
Oscar T. (verified owner) –
Support was patient with me, my body is an odd model and they confirmed fit before I ordered. Arrived correct. Ordering two more. Looked at a few brands and went with YO in the end.
Dan B. (verified owner) –
Shipped fast, arrived in two days. There is a manufacture date stamped on the cell and it is from this year, not old stock.
Hannah L. –
second order. The first one lasted about eighteen months before it started fading, so I stocked up this time. Told a colleague about it.
Peter N. (verified owner) –
Ran six hundred frames through the Sony A7 IV on one charge with room to spare. Shipping was quick too. Never heard of YO before this, but it has held up.
Tim H. –
shot all day without a hiccup. Slight plastic smell out of the box, gone after two days.
Amanda K. (verified owner) –
ordered six for the studio and numbered them. Twenty-odd cycles in and capacity has barely moved.
Roland D. –
I put it on a load tester, pulled about 2200mAh out of a rated 2280mAh. Close enough for me, and rare at this price.
Beth R. (verified owner) –
Happy overall. Only thing, the last ten percent on the Sony A7 IV gauge drains fast. Does not affect shooting. I will update if anything changes.
Kate B. –
I have had off-brand cells swell in two months. This one is six months in and still flat.
Rachael W. (verified owner) –
Build is better than expected. Matte shell, latch tension feels close to OEM, no wobble when seated. Never heard of YO before this, but it has held up.
Gina M. (verified owner) –
Great value. The latch is tighter than OEM, took some force the first time I seated it. Told a colleague about it
Alex G. (verified owner) –
real runtime is maybe ninety percent of the rating. For the price I can live with it.
Trevor B. –
Good cells, bad packaging, single bubble bag, box was crushed. Hope it holds up.
